Quran is revealed in the month of Ramadan. If you recite Surah Fatah in Ramadan then you are rewarded for reciting Quran 7 times. Our prophet Muhammad PBUH and most Imams recite Quran in the month of Ramadan more than in other months. It takes about 16 hours to complete reciting the whole Quran.
You can make a timetable for doing work, caring for your family and reciting the Quran. For example, you make 2 hours for reciting Quran, 4 hours for your family and other time for your work.
The more ayahs of the Quran you recite in this world the more reward you get on judgement day. Most people don’t know Arabic and they have difficulty reading the Quran. So it is good practice to listen to Surah Fatah and try to say it with your tongue. It is the most important Surah of the Quran that all Muslims recite in the Namaz (Salah).
The Surah Fatah is written below in English:-
Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem
Surah Fatah
Al-hamdu lillahi Rabb il-‘alamin
Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem
Maliki yawmi-d-Din
Iyya-ka na’budu wa iyya-ka nasta’in
Ihdina-sirat al-mustaqim
Sirat al-ladhina an’amta ‘alai-him
Ghair il-Maghdubi ‘alai-him wa la-d-dallin
It is also good practice to recite Surah Ikhlas.
The Surah Ikhlas is written below in Arabic and English:-
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Surah Ikhlas
Bismi l-lāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm(i)
قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
1 Qul huwa l-lāhu ’aḥad(un)
ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ
2 ’allāhu ṣ-ṣamad(u)
لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
3 Lam yalid walam yūlad
وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ
4 Walam yaku l-lahū kufuwan ’aḥad(un)
We all Muslims have a responsibility to recite the Quran correctly and learn the meaning of the Quran and practice reciting the Quran in a good way. We will be asked on the day of judgement about the Quran.
It is mentioned in the Quran that whoever recites the Quran, prays five times a day and shares his money with poor people is rewarded on judgement day and also they will be gifted in this world.
Prophet Muhammad PBUH said that whoever recites one haraf of the Quran, will be given one Hasanah (one reward).
Quran gives us the right path. It tells us how to live our life. Reciting Quran protects us from the calamities of the world and the life hereafter.
If we recite the Quran then we come close to Allah SWT. We feel calm in our bodies after reciting the Quran. Quran guides our right path, the path which Muhammad PBUH take and succeed in his life.
Allah SWT said in the Quran that we made it easy for you to understand. There is a translation of the Quran in every language. You can read the translation of the Quran and it will surely change your life.
