For the last couple of years, Iran, Israel, and the United States have been at war.
As a result of the serious war between these countries, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was martyred.
He was martyred at the age of 86 on 28 February, 2026.
At the time when he was martyred, his funeral had not yet occurred. The reason was a security problem. The conflict between Israel, Iran, and the United States was very high during that time. It was expected that his funeral ceremony would be attacked by the Israel and the United States. So his funeral ceremony was delayed.
Today, the funeral of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei took place.
People from more than 100 countries participate in the Funeral.
Famous leaders from Pakistan also participate in the Funeral.
Shehbaz Sharif (Prime Minister of Pakistan), Ishaq Dar(Deputy Prime Minister Of Pakistan), Bilawal Bhutto(Chairman Of Pakistan People’s Party), Asim Munir(Chief Of Army Staff Of Pakistan), Mohsin Naqvi(Federal Interior Minister Of Pakistan), Attaullah Tarar(Federal Minister Of Information and Broadcasting Of Pakistan) and other important figures from Pakistan Politics participated in Ayatullah Ali Khamenei Funeral.
A few days back, the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, and the Foreign Minister of Iran, Abbas Araghchi, visited Pakistan.
Iranian leaders were warmly welcomed by Asif Ali Zardari, Gen. Asim Munir, Shehbaz Sharif, Bilawal Bhutto, Asifa Bhutto, Ishaq Dar, Mohsin Naqvi, Attaullah Tarar, and they were given a special guard of Honor.
More than 10 million people participated in the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s funeral.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei will be remembered by the whole world. He was a great leader of the Muslim Ummah.
