How To Learn Something Quickly

Learning is a continuous process that everyone experiences throughout their lives.

The world is evolving every day. The knowledge around us is increasing daily.

The more you get the knowledge, the more you get interested in getting more knowledge.

The process of getting knowledge is not as difficult as we may think.

We only have to follow some steps by which we can get the right direction to learn any skill quickly.

Please follow the below steps in learning something quickly:

Start learning from the basics.

Try to get basic knowledge of something you want to learn.

Suppose you want to learn about discipline in your life. You can start by learning the basics, such as how to keep myself clean most of the time. This may be cleaning your room, wearing clean clothes, taking a bath on time, or brushing your teeth every day.

The more you start doing the basics, the more you start improving yourself.

If you want to learn about some IT Skills, then allocate a specific time in a day for learning. You can start learning from the basics. For example, if I want to learn about the Kotlin Language, then I have to give an hour a day to my learning. I have to start with the basics. The basics can be of understanding mobile Interface, how the app works, what makes the Kotlin language (Variables, Loops, Screens, Integration of Screens).

So you have to think that I have to not grab all the knowledge at once. Just do it little by little. And start from the very basics.

After you know the basics, you can add more knowledge to the previous skills.

For example, if you learn to have little discipline in your life. Then you can start focusing on improving your personality. To improve your personality, you can start praying on Time, give more time to reciting the Quran, start doing exercise (walking for 30 minutes) or improve your communication skills.

If you are learning about Kotlin (a language used to develop mobile apps), then you can explore new ideas such as how to make a nice user Interface. I am in the learning stage still now. But I am trying to add more knowledge in learning Kotlin daily.

If you have a workspace that is full of unwanted things, then you can try to manage it correctly. By doing this, you can get more focus on doing things right.

For example, in my workspace you will not find anything that is without any purpose.

It takes some time to organise your workspace. You just have to give one full day to organising your office, room, or any workspace you work daily.

After you finish organising your workspace, your focus on work will increase. You start feeling more productive.

The efficiency of your work will also keep improving.

Try to practice the knowledge you get daily.

For example, if you learn anything new in Kotlin, then you can start practising it in your Android Studio.

Like, today I learn about Layouts in Kotlin. I start practicing on my Android Studio to make the layouts.

After doing some practice, my concepts of Layouts in Kotlin have become a little stronger.

Today I learn about Layouts in Kotlin, so I am thinking to write an article about it. I have already been writing during my learning phase.

The more you teach someone, the more your knowledge will start increasing. You will also start memorising the concepts you teach to others.

To learn something quickly, is that you should have a fresh mind. To gain a fresh mind is if you have already completed your sleep.

The more you sleep, the more you can grasp the new knowledge.

Try to make a list of things you want to learn.

For example, you set a group of 30 tasks you have to complete in 30 days.

So you start allocating daily one or 2 hours for a single task.

After completing a couple of tasks, you will start feeling confident in yourself, as you have gained some new skills.

So setting a monthly or weekly goal can identify your purpose of learning.

If you think that you already know everything, then you will not be interested in the learning process.

Start seeing positive things in the skills you want to learn.

You have to know the benefits of the skills that I get after I will learn.

For example, if I am learning the Kotlin Language, the purpose of learning may be that I can start making my own apps one day.

Try to keep a separate notebook for your learning process.

I kept a separate notebook for taking notes of what I learn daily. By keeping a notebook, you can revise the topics easily. Keeping notes can also benefit you that you will start seeing that you have achieved some knowledge.

This is the most difficult step. To keep consistent is very hard.

The tips for being consistent are to follow the above 9 steps I mentioned. Especially point 3 (Remove Distractions).

Keeping consistent is the key to success. The more you maintain consistency in anything, the more you start learning quickly.
