Why Hair Turns White

When we are born and start growing, our hair colour is usually black, brown, or red. At a young age, we start to notice little changes in our hair colour.

Some people start feeling that their hair colour changes when they get older. The reason behind the hair turning white is due to a decrease in the cells which make hair colourful. The special hair cells become weaker and stop generating colour in the hair.

It is also seen that some individuals get their hair white at their younger age as well. This is caused by genetic behaviour. The parents have the same issue, so their kids get their white hair in their early life as well.

Note that every hair colour is a blessing from God. Every colour of hair has a unique look and feel. Whether your hair colour is white, brown, black or red, it’s natural and you have to feel charming on your face every time.

Some people use hair dye to colour their hair. It’s their priority to decide how they want to look.

If you dye your hair and want to change your appearance, then it’s your choice. From an Islamic point of view, Muhammad (PBUH) also instructs his companions that you have your own choice to colour your hair. Muhammad (PBUH) also coloured his hair brown, orange and red. But Muhammad (PBUH) did not colour his hair black.

Once the father of Abu Bakr approached Muhammad (PBUH), and he had white hair. Muhammad (PBUH) instructed him to dye his hair because he would look nicer with coloured hair.

Hair colour is natural and changes when you go into different stages of life. Always feel cool whether you have black, brown, red or white hair.
