It’s 3:00 am now and the new year started just 3 hours ago.
In this post I will try to explain that is celebrating the new year in Islam good.
When we wake up in the morning then our mind is in a state of calmness. We stay calm in the morning. As the day passes we get tired and angriness is automatically built in our mind. We start hating everyone. This angry behavior continues until we sleep at night.
To avoid tyiness we arrange some parties, listen to music or use drugs to relieve our tension.
But if we believe in Islam then our belief is that whether we get sadness or happiness we have to always keep our saber. If we do saber in difficult times then our sins are removed. If we become happy then we have to do shukar.
As we have seen many Islamic scholars that when they get any disease then they always remember Allah and not miss their ibadah.
Prophet Ayyub A.S spent most of his life in disease and he never complained to Allah. Allah became so happy with hazrat Ayyub AS for his sabar that he is mentioned in the Quran. Allah says that Hazrat Ayyub AS was a great prophet and Allah loves him because he spent his sickness days with calmness and never forget Allah.
As the new year has started we have to believe that we have lost one year of our life and think that did we done any good deeds that year. It is not a time of celebration but a time to think about how many sins we do that year and are we able to make our God happy.
